Another easy – and better-smelling – way to get rid of mosquitoes is to use fruit slices. Simply cut a lime or lemon in half and stick a bunch of whole cloves inside the fruit. After 24 hours there was 1 small fruit fly, but no mosquitoes. Place the baking soda into the bottom of the bottle. Place the container into a position where you want it to stay, and then add the vinegar. We placed the trap in a high mosquito trap and allowed it to sit for 24 hours to judge effectiveness.

Mix drops of essential oils into the spray bottle. Take any combination of your essential oils but make sure to drop at least drops of the oil in total. Make sure that there is still enough room in the spray bottle to shake it once you've combined all the ingredients. The quickest mosquito trap is to add something sugary along with some water and maybe some vinegar in a narrow container like a bottle. The mosquitoes will have a hard time getting out once they get in. Add droplets of essential oils over your mixture.
